wall mart has the gorilla wolverine hang on treestand for 40.00 on sale. is this a good treestand and a good price.

That is an AWESOME stand for the money.I would buy as many of them as you can. You won't be disappointed. I bought one and love it. I like it just as much as my 80 dollar King Kong stand. It's only $35 where I live.

i dont no if this makes a difference or not but it is the stand with the chain that straps arond the tree. does this hurt anything or not and is it still a good stand and quite.

I was in Walmart yesterday and noticed them for $40. Needless to say, I bought one. BassPro had the same stand, only with a rachett strap instead of the chain for $80. That rachett is not worth $40. The chain will work just fine but if you don't like it, you can pick up a rachett strap anywhere.
