well i need to know where to put up my camera.i have a corn field on one side of my fence and a little patch of tember on the other. i cant bait it obviosly because there is a corn field right there. but there is no sign or anything there so i wanna no how to lure them to my camera or a great spot to put it??so far i have seen 2 big bodied deer, it was to dark to tell what they were but i didnt want to scare them so i just sat until they left.also some1 has said they seen a "monster"go in the ditch off the highway, which is y i want to set it up there to see if there is one.here is a picture if it helps any.

If you get 100 responses, you're gonna get 100 different answers, and 100 more posts criticizing everyone else's answers.

but i'll stick out my neck and give my two cents.

without scouting at all (which obviously i would), i would set up the camera either above the cross in the pic, where all 3 fields are the closest, looking for trails in there, or walk the fence and look for hairs on the barbed wire where the deer are going over or under the fence. in my experience, bucks prefer to jump over a lowspot in a fence than try to fit UNDER a highspot in the fence.

also, moving the camera around can be a good idea, or a bad one, see what works for you.
