Tag, weapon, compass/gps, knife, coffee, and cell phone as long as it is shut off. I only carry a cell phone in case of need and not to have ringing while trying to hunt.

i always bring a gun, knife, tags, walkie-talkie, cover scent, and usually a mid morning snack. other than that i bring myself and the clothes i'm wearing.

Well the main reason I take mine with me is because of 2 heart attacks, 3 back surgeries, 1 rotator cuff replacement, and a few other health problems.

Before all this I never took one into the woods, but it only makes sense to me. Last year one of our hunting buddies had a heart attack just after he killed a deer and had to walk to his 4 wheeler and drive it back to camp. The doctor said if he would have had cell he could have been helped sooner. He barely made it.
Also if you hunt by yourself or fall out of your tree stand it would be very usefull if you have trouble.

I bring my cell phone as a precaution-like if I need help with something and to call in my animal. I get a (very)smallsignal where I hunt.

My gun or bow with proper license of course. Then it's the cell phone because I don't drive(legally) and have to call for the ride.
