I am just trying to get some opinions on creating mineral supplements in late winter for a food source. After our rifle season in Minnesota I went out and proceeded to start some supplement sites in all the areas that we hunt. I have bought several different brands to see what helps the most, but thought you all might have suggestions and/or comments. I have made sites with Deer Cane Black Magic, Deer Can Pre-Mix Liquid, C-More Bucks, and Rack-Up. Anybody used these brands and had success?

Get some loose trace mineral salt and mix it with Di-Cal 50/50, dig a shallow hole in a clay area and mix some dirt with the stuff.

Also, does anyone have any opinions on Deer Cane products on how well they work??
