Hows the hunting there right now? Im leaving to huntin the central section in about 2 hours. Just was wondering how the hunting is and if the deer are moving

Oh yes they're starting to move. I saw three does on Sunday going into the woods where I hunt. Hopefully a buck will be with them.

I have killed 3 this year now in NC on the coast. I thought they were in the rut but yesterday when I got 2 of them they didn't react to scent or calls? I hunt on base and most of the guys there agree the rut here doesn't start until middle DEC.
But the hunting is good in NC!

Any where close to segrove nc in Randolph county?

ive been watching deer all week scraping trees chasing does
im in the western part of nc mtns looks full rut here to me

? I am in Onslow county and we haven't seen many signs of the rut yet, but the dog/ deer target shooters have been heavy so the cycles could be off.
