Default Whitetail hunting...(plz reply by thur) leaving soon

Hi everyone
This thursday i'm leaving with my friends and were going to his camp to do some whitetail huntin friday and saturday. We are going about 4.5 hours away past bangor in eastern maine. Where we will be hunting there is nothing but woods and thick woods. I've never gone with them but they usually hunt around the swamps. I'm not sure where is the best place to go hunting in teh thinks woods. I thought it would be good to hunt in the clear cuts becasue you can see much much further. but what areas of the thick woods should i hunt?

I find the best place to hunt in areas like is fence lines or open areas such as clear cuts or swamps cause then you may catch them going through the clearing and while your sitting there you can also try calling them to that always tend to help i find.Good Luck

i hunt all woods and fields here in wi but id say anywhere where u can see a long ways is a good spot to start. Also look for pinch points connecting large blocks of woods.
