Default Cole's buck

14 year old Cole's dad had asked me if I would take him hunting with me,I agreed of course. We went out opening morning before daylight and got set up,as the sun began to rise and the birds came to life,I started rattling and using a grunt tube, within minutes we spotted a deer coming our way.I had told Cole he could shoot whatever he wanted being he had only taken one deer before now.As the deer came closer we could tell it was either a 4 or 6 point,I told him to take it if it was the one he wanted,I could tell by the raspy breathing what his choice was.I continued to grunt to try and position the buck for a good shot! The buck stopped facing us at about 80 yards and Cole shot him in the neck with his .243 the 100gr.corelokt put him on the ground! Cole was so excited I thought he was going to hyperventilate.
I had a great time ,Cole is a very polite and pleasant young man!

Congrads on the buck Cole. It is great to have kids interested in hunting and wonderful to have people like you to take them. I take my nephews ever chance I get. The future hunting and fishing generations look good as long as we do what you did. Again, tell him way to go.
