Oklahoma Muzzleloader Deer 2006

I guided my son Jake this weekend on his first hunt in Oklahoma. It was the muzzleloader opener up there and his first hunt with a muzzleloader. He finally connected with a nice 8 point on Sunday evening and bagged his 154 pound doe this morning (Monday). I am going back next weekend to hunt myself.

Congrats to you and your son! That's a nice buck! I wish my first outing w/a ML wouldhave been that productive.

What kind of muzzleloader did he use?

This is actually his 9th and 10th deer to kill, but it was his first in Oklahoma and with a muzzleloader. He is shooting an Encore with a Pro Hunter barrel.
