i hunt blacktails where i live in washington st, and i found this little clear cut that looks like a freeway with tracks and everything, there are a lot of down stumps and trees from clearcutting, people say blacktail dont answer to rattling, also wondering if i should put up a tree stand or ground blind, am kind of new to rifle hutning if this was your spot what would u do

I would definately put up a ladderstand. I don't know ne thing about black tail, but if it were whitetail, i would hold off on calling until rut starts to kick in.
