1/3 of the way up from the bottom, tight in the crease behind the elbow. And i'm eating tasty backstraps. I will takea shoulder or neck shot also, but if I have the shot Iwant,they will get it right behind the shoulder.

I try to wait for that purfect broadside shot but in the real world it doesn't present it self to offten so I'll aim for the vital area no matter what the angel is or how the deer is facing.
I make every effort to make a quick humane shot possiable so that I can recover the animal quickly .
