My reloaded some for a buddie of mine in 30-06 and I have seen there work on deer and caribou and they are a deep penetrating bullet. I wanted to load some for my 338win

Th eBlack Talon/Failsafe bulles are designed for slow expansion and deep penetration for big , heavy game. They will kill a whitetail but are not the best bullet for the choice. A better choice would be a Nosler Partition or a bullet of similar design. I'm a huge fan of Barnes X bullets, especially the newer TSX line but they are only available by handloading or buying custom loads as far as I know.
