Has anyone seen the whitetail attractant that Wal-Mart sells in 1 gallon jugs? I bought some the other day for $5 a gallon. Figured I would try it and see what happens.

Most if not all of those would be considered bait , better check your game laws first .

Baiting has been legal here for a couple of years now.

Is it one of the molasses-based products, like Stump Likker?

No it's not that thick. The directions said to shake well and pour ont the ground. It also says to try and find a spot were the soil is kind of hard so that it stays near the surface. I have tried the Stump Likker and it didn't do too well. It did attract some deer for the first 3 days and then they disappeared after that. I'm going back out on Saturday to check to see if anything has hit it yet.
