I will be rifle hunting, during the rut. I've seen a good buck by one stand. How many days would you sit there ?? It's hard for me to do when I have several other good stands also. This brings to mind another question- say you have 3-4 stands, the wind is correct for all- how do you decide which to hunt?

well ive always been told to hunt a stand at least three days in a row
for which stand to pic it sounds like its the luck of the draw.

I never like to hunt a stand more than once or twice a week. I will NEVER hunt a stand days in a row unless i have been witness to some great activity and am confident I have not been detected.

You best shot at a good buck is always the first time you hunt a stand.

Three days then I will move, on unless Like Rack-Attack said you see alot of activity in the area. They say a deer will make a circle withen its home range within that time. The longer you stay the more you have to worry about leaving your scent.
