I'm also the proud papa, my son's first deer just this morning. I wish I had another tag. After he shot this doe, an 8 point and a 10 point casually strolled by and hung around within about 30 yards of the tree stand. I think they knew he didn't have another tag. I slowly worked my way to him after I heard the shot, got there about 10 minutes later and I could have taken one. Unfortunately I'm waaay to old for youth season.
