take a look at these climbers and rank them from first to last according to what you think about them

The Brutus Barkbiter looks a whole lot like a Summit... that would be my choice. Good luck.

I know it's not on your short list, but you may want to check out the equalizer.

I would pick #4 then #1 with the other two far down the list. They just look a LOT more comfortable to me. No backrest to me means it is going to be a long afternoon.

#1 is a steel heavy POS...
#2 isa remake of the old Loggy Bayou... which was a decent stand
#3 is 19# and Gorilla's version of andOl' Man Treestand (Gorilla bought Ol' Man a few years back). This would prolly be my choice due to the light weight and economical price.
#4 is a Brutus.. which are very well built but tend to be a bit on the heavy side... if the weight doesn't bother you.. this is one rock solid stand.

The way the links came up # 1 is the one that looks like the loggy bayou. Any of the the stands are servicable. I would look at weight being the deciding factor. I bought a loggy bayou mega transformer and have been completely satisfied.
