I think the answer to that USM10 is NOWHERE. If we are being honest
I think there is an extremely small few who might feel it's B&C or nothing (yes, I know there are a few of you here as well
). No doubt there is all kinds of people who will supporthow thier state or province has deer bigger than this. The question is who would let it walk for 1 more year and even 2!!!I think mostANY hunter is going to take that bigger one down. I guess if you know for certain there IS a bigger deer in your area then it might be easier for even a few more guys to hold off. Even then the vast majority, particularily if it's a bowkill, are letting fly on that big fella.
There's no question. He's on the wall if given the chance.

It's an individual thing....personal choice. It depends on the area you hunt, the number of deer you've killed, etc. In many places with heavy hunting pressure, a 12-point buck would be a tremendous trophy. In other areas a person could pass on it and give it "another two years". Where would you hunt to do this? I can only comment on where I hunt, but in many parts of Montana where I hunt I'd pass on it......keep in mind that I've hunted for 40 years and have killed many fine bucks. Now if I were a youngster hunting in Montana and hadn't taken a nice buck or maybe a hunter hunting here from out of state where bucks like this are hard to come by, I'd be jumping on this one in a heartbeat!
