Which do you hunt on?

RE: Which do you hunt on?
There wasn’t an option for “both”! Sorry, it’s a pet peeve; I design surveys for a living;-> I usually hunt on one of two parcels my wife and I have. One is 40 acres and one is 98 acres. Both border on George Washington National Forest, which I also hunt occasionally, especially for turkey. Both parcels are miles away from any public access entry points to the national forest, so I rarely see any other hunters, even in the national forest.

Private...my father-in-law has four peices of property that range from 30 acres to 400 acres. I sometimes joke with my wife that the only reason I married her was to get access to her family land!

I hunt deer on private land. I have had free access to a small 160 acre cattle lease in Oklahoma that has been very productive for me and the other hunters who hunt it (my niece's husband and one of his friends). The deer are not big, but the hunting experience is good and fun. I'm from Texas and pay $250 to hunt Oklahoma as a non-resident.
I hunted pronghorn on private land in Wyoming in 2004 (paid $100 apiece for my son and I to hunt two days on a 1200 acre ranch). I will hunt elk on public land -- Weminuche Wilderness in SW Colorado -- this fall. But I assume the poll is directed to deer hunting.
