RE: What calls do you use?
I use the tube type grunter I bought when they first came out it has an ajustable
O-ring for deeper tone or for a doe bleat.I also have two calls one for a buck and one for a doe you can put in your mouth and be hands free.I tried the can call this year with out any success.I have called in a few deer with the grunt tube and finished it with the call I put in my mouth. It all depends on the bucks mood. I have used them and a buck would not respond.I relate deer calling to turkey calling when they are ready they will respond.

Best call I ever had mature bucks respond to was the Carlton grunt call, but I lost it. Now I am using a Primos Power Buck and Doe call....I love the sound and versatility but just got it, so not really tried and true yet. For bleating I prefer using my mouth.

I have a true talker that I know worked with a nice 8 point when I used the doe bleat. Sometimes deer just ignore them, but they do not spook them unless you call to often or really mess up.

RE: What calls do you use?
I use the True Talker too, because it can make any call easily. Get the one with the video, it helps. I also use a Primos Doe in Estrus Can Bleat. 3 guys in our group brought bucks in with it, all shooters. I think it is something different. So many people use grunts, lots of deer have heard them, and not seen deer.
