Default RE: Will a deer return to a rub area if tree cut down

The deer have used that particular tree to rub for a reason. Bucks can be very selective in which tree to rub, that is why they can and will rub the same tree each year. The fact that the tree was cut down, tells me that bucks will probably find another tree in that area to begin rubbing. Since that particular tree is no longer available, should have no serious affect on deer using that area. I honestly do not think your place has been ruined. I would continue to hunt it without any concern. Also aaprecon, I agree with you 100% when you mentioned the respect that we must have for other folks property. Glad you brought it up.....Good Luck!... Jimmy S
