I have used Deer Cane with good results, the deer will absolutely tear up the ground it is absorbed into, taking out many gallons of dirt over time if you reapply it. It seems to atract most in the spring and early summer. i can't hunt over mineral licks anyway but deer seem to pay them no attention in the fall regardless.
