115 to 120 would be about right. Once the velvet comes off the antlers will lose some mass and height. I'd give that puppy one more year!

Hard to tell with the velvet, Greg... but I'm betting he loses enough mass with the shedding of his velvet to put him back below that, considering that in velvet he doesn't even look to carry the mass of a 131"-er I took last year.

Here is a picture of the deer I took on the same land last year, I wouldnt be surprised if the deer on the trail cam was one of his offspring. This guy scored about 148 I think.

If you want, take 4" off the mass, and you still get 122.

Maybe so... Either way, unless he's someone's first deer or in a very highly pressured area, he needs another year on him.
