in sc i have one more month august 15 i can shoot a buck with a bow september 1 is gun sep 15 u can use doe tags

Man, I love to hunt but inAug. I just don't know if I could do it. It was 102 today I now telling what the heat index. If the rattlesnakes don't get you the mosquitos will. lol:D

i hunted in south carolina in august a few years back and its the last time i do that. it was so hot and sticky and just plain miserable. plus the deer were filled with ticks and by the time i found my deer about 4 hours after the shot the majority of the meat was no good. it just wasnt worth it for me. now its nice to get a velvet buck if thats what your after but if i cant use the meat i dont need the rack.

Even up here in October I find the weather as not being the best
at times. And those darn blow flies seem to get to the deer the
moment it hits the ground.

Enjoy and get a good one. I don't blame you for being excited even if it will be hot. Post a pic if you get one, it will carry me over as I wait for October to come around.

Sept 16th in Wi. Hope to god it aint as hot as it has been this last week.

Ours starts October 1st , I hope to gawd it isn't as hot as it was last year !
