Default Growing horns

I was out turkey hunting this morning and saw a couple of deer. I was videoing and noticed one had already started growing horns. First buck I've so far this season. He was already coming out past his ears and had brow tines already. Very nice to see first thing this morning.
Are the bucks already growing their horns everywhere? I didn't realize it happened quite this early?

I havn't seen any of the wild deer in this area with new antlers yet, but there is a pen up the road that has elk and mostly Texas strain deer that have a good bit of antler growth. His does are bellied up big time also whereas our wild does won't have fawns till around Oct.

Antlers...... horns don't generally fall off. Pronghorns and cows have horns..... cervids have antlers. Most fawn have already appeared in our area and the bucks have already started to grow antlers.

Seen a few fawns already. Almost steeped on one while mushroom hunting last weekend. Also good antler growth going on here in MI.
