Good advice starman. I haven't tried the ROMANCE route yet. A quote from my wife this AM "I wish hunting didn't exist". This was after I told her I would be hunting all weekend and the next, and the next week too. Also was gone last weekend hunting. I guess I'll have to take 20 min. or so to be romantic and then she'll understand.

Oh ya. The romance stuff works great. Right before hunting season, I like to leave love notes around the house for her to find before I leave for work in the morning saying that I always miss her, wish she could be with me all the time all kinds of outlandish $h1T. Works great. When its time to leave for hunting, I will take her out for dinner the night before, leave her a rose before I leave. Oh man, I dont hear anything about hunting anymore. You just have to let them think your thinking of them and tell them. They eat that up. I hate hearing any crap about me going hunting. I would snap on the spot. I just prepare so I dont have to hear that $h1T. Works for me.
