Out in 2 bean fields I have noticed alot of holes dug into the ground. They are close together but not that deep. Could this be deer or coyotes digging for food? I found a scrape by my deer stand from the buck I have never seen again since I spooked him off. Also all the places I poured out corn looks like the deer are digging the groud up looking for more.

Thats what they are doing. Now if the holes start getting real big then you got hogs. As long as they are small its probably the deer or small animals. Dont worry about the buck, he will come back. The key will be if you are there or not. I have noticed the scrapes on my land get worked every other day or even once a week. All depends on what the conditions are.
Lifes a garden, dig it.

Look for tracks in the area around the holes to see if you can figure out what made the holes. Could be armadillo's, coons, hogs, coyotes, deer or something else. How big are the holes in diameter and how big?

Don't know where you are from ceaser8, but the squirrels in my area (N. IL) make a hole the size of a quarter or silver dollar when they are burying - or looking for - food.
