RE: New Boots

I tell you what, my most recent pair of working boots is by the brand known as "Double H." Nothing expensive, but a man like me does not need expensive boots to make him feel like a man. I am the type of guy who wears Skin Bracer after shave....why? Because confidence is very sexy.

RE: New Boots

i've been hunting with a pair of rocky knee high snake boots for more than two years now and they're still going stong. they were already a couple years old when i got them so they may be american made. the only problem i've had was when i tried going through too deep of water in a backwoods swamp... needless to say it doesn't matter how waterproof your boots are when the water is over the tops. then you really get a test of waterproofing, if water can't get out from the inside i'm sure it can't get in....

Exactly! My hunting waders had a pinhole in them, couldn't find it so I had to fill them up w/ water and see where it beaded out.

The true test of waterproofing is to fill your boots with water. (LOL I've never done it :D, but it sounds like a fool proof plan. Hahaha)
