RE: never hunted
 

All great advice, especially the hunters ed course, take it. It is interesting and informative.

We are kind of in the same boat, my mother never allowed guns and when I was younger I truthfully never thought much about hunting. I married when I was 30 and my wife, although she does not hunt, comes from a family with a strong hunting tradition, even her mother hunts. Needless to say it is 8 years later and I have become hopelessly addicted, hunting waterfowl and big game. My mother and grandparents all thought it strange that I took up the sport, but they love to hear my stories and they most certainly like the game meat.
