130-150's will work fine for the 270 win. Only way to know is fire them and go from their. I found either to work fine out of my 270's and would just go with whicheverI felt fit best/accuracy (then make adjustments for trajectory if required). If you have a bullet that prints nice groups -1-2" difference in adjustment really isn't a huge deal, as youmust practice at those distances to know whats required or produced by your rifle. However far to many just look at a ballistics table, shoot @ 100 and then assume beyond that what their bullet is doing.

Gotta love the hornaady 140s.. for the 270. I use the boat tails but will try the SSt's next season.

My 270 will shoot the 150 gr about and inch higher then the 130 gr at 100 yards. That is out of a Mod 70. The ammo is plain Rem Core-Lokts.

150gr fusion works for me in 270
