Default RE: Good Poll Question

Read an article the other day that said Wisconsin was looking for hunters to take as many as 15,000 deer this year in an effort to control the spread of CWD.

We owe it to the rest of the population to remove all deer exhibiting the symptoms.

Yeap, just submit the head for testing. Results take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I know here they will replace any tag of game that is deemed unfit for humane consuption at no charge, probably the same their.

Like the other person said we need to do our part to help prevent the spread of this or any disease. It is also in our best interest, so be a little selfish. Just take the required precautions and hunt normally.

I have also read that their is no scientific evidence that CWD can be transmitted to humane by ingesting or being in contact with CWD. I still would wait for the results and then take the DNR's advice on what to do if a positive test is found.
