That's been on here a couple of times already, but I still drop my jaw whenever I see it. That thing is a beast! Too bad he didn't get drawn east to PA where I could get him!

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
Guys,
Thats a nice buck. Its a nice buck. HOWEVER, I will take a good tasting Southern whitetail over a Yankee deer ANY DAY. Not to take anything away from that buck, guys. Again, it is a nice deer. Ohio has its share of decent bucks, but they simply cannot match up with what the Southern deer woods has to offer. When you visit the Southern woods, you are visiting God's finest work. Mountains, valleys, hills, cropland, hardwood draws, pines, etc, etc. When visiting the Southern woods you are not taking some second rate venture to some place a few miles from bright city lights filled withhomeless people and litter infested streets. On the contrary. When visiting the Southland, you are visiting a place of respect and dignity. A place filled with God fearing folks and and fresh air. Again, guys, not trying to be arrogant or flippant here, but I had to step in and put things back in perspective. I hope everyone is having a good week and that all of you are able to get outside this weekend and do something fun with close friends/family. It isn't deer season, but we can still get out there in the peaceful tranquility of the woods! God bless guys!! TDWW |
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
TDWW, I know you just like coming on here making stupid posts to mess with people but I was wondering. Do you need vaseline to get your head up your a$$ or does it just sl-i-i-i-i-de right up there after years of experience.;)

TDWW #1: Venison is Venison in my book. #2: Right. #1 Typical P&Y buck comes from Peoria County, Illinois, #1 NT P&Y comes from Greene County, Ohio. #1 Typical B&C is Biggar, SK, #1 NT B&C (Found dead) is in St. Louis County, MO. Hmm.... #3: This is more of my opinion, but to me there is nothing more beautiful then waking up to a forest covered in fresh snow. Can't Find that in the south on an average November Hunt. #4: Last time i checked, "Fresh Air" is found everywhere! Except maybe LA (Smog). |
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
ORIGINAL: squirrelkilla23 hey why dont u shut up and go smoke southern weed cus heaven knows tht that probbaly gets u more high than yankee weed. quit crapin up our fourms. go get lost in ur "beautiful woods" u know what. a tree is a tree, a rock is a rock, nothin more special about it bein below the mason dixon line. stop bein a jerk and go pee in your truck. not someone elses[:@][:@] oh yeah u guys, u only wish u could hunt up here in a-hi-a with me dont ya;)dont ya;):Dyup first the beatty buck now this monster, man we're craninin them out like maggots on a rottin groundhog:D:Dgreat buck, and it's even greater that tht freak tdww has to see it on here with the work yankee in the title, good choice rebel!!!!! |
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
This buck was killed about 35 miles away from my neck of the woods
|
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
TDWW spoken like a true idiot. Obviously you never have hunted up north or probably south for that matter. Go back to middle school tomorrow...they will probably let you back in.

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
I think part of Dawgs problem is he can't afford to hunt places like Alberta, Canada! I climb trees for a living but I still manage toget my a$$ to Canada to hunt some of the biggest deer in the world each year. Dawg is just a sad mess and he has my sympathy.[&o]

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
Hey don't even bother with him and he'll or she'll go away.

RE: Nice Yankee Buck

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
Again, guys, I did not intend to cause such a stir with my post on this topic. I am sure it is really special to wake up to a few feet of snow and likely a real treat to see a pond frozen over while sneaking through the woods. Nothing wrong with that at all. And you know what? There are some decent deer up there too. A few nice bucks have been taken up there and I do not mean to overlook that.
All I am saying is that the Southland is at the top of the list when it comes to beautiful scenery and hunting pleasure. The top. Awards, accolades, etc, etc. Again, guys. Did not mean to discredit those of you from above the Mason-Dixon and I am sure that it is really nice to live and hunt up there. |
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
That buck is exactly what I'm after. I drooled for an hour looking at the photo, then I realized I was drooling all over my keyboard. I'm going to be thinking about that photo all day, one of these days, thats going to be me in that photo, but I know we don't have any deer that size here in montana so maybe I'll head south to Gods country and get the hell out of this God awful state. What was I thinking.

ummmmm.ok. I guessing youhave never been to Montana. Yeah, we have a few nice deer up here but not very many. I know when I want to hunt big deer, the first place I think of is Tenessee or Alabama.I get really excited thinking of hunting the nice mini deer down there. |
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
The south and the north both have advantages like the south states like texas and dd's state are overrun with deer and have big racks but smaller bodie and a later rut north on the other hand has snow coverd woods andbig bodied deer but rack size can be anywhere they just need the nutrients and the right management deer and the other city with out fresh air is new york (no offense) because of all of the taxis

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
Hey don't even bother responding to the little doggie,I'm not even sure he's a real hunter.Maybe a PETA want-a- be.

RE: Nice Yankee Buck
I have hunted here in Ohio my whole life I was blest with a 12point 154 class deer. now I know I would crap my self if I saw that guy coming at me:D
|
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
thats a real nice buck. i want to get me one that big one day
|
RE: Nice Yankee Buck
Now that is an amazin' buck!! I have lived and hunted in Illinois, Colorado and currently Alabama....and I have never seen a buck like that (body and antlers) in Alabama...in fact the biggest deer I saw down here was a 12 point, 3.5 year old, that was 150lbs...now anyone from above the Mason-Dixon knows that there are does that weigh that much....I can't wait to be livin' back up north and hunting this fall!!!!
