I know alot of you guys shed hunt, lets keep a count of sheds along with pictures. Here is my first for the season, along with a trailcam pic of the same buck (bad pic cause it was scanned). Add pics of the sheds you guys have found..

Thats a nice looking shed. I don't usually don't go into the mountains to looks for sheds but have found a couple while hiking.

I'm glad you're having some luck finding sheds. The only thing I find that are even related to deer...are a few rib bones that the coyotes leave.

Here is a pic ofa buck hanging around my farm in Jan 2006and his right sheds from last year (left) and2006 (right). His G2is starting to show some character, and he added a lot of mass this past year; Ihope to meet up with him this coming season [8D].

wow fsh, your wife puts up with all that hunting stuff around the house? where did you find her15, you just go down below where you write, and clicky in the box that is beside embed picture in post, then click on the "click here to upload!" and browse your files till you find the pic you want to add. nice sheds tho fsh!

I just found a couple today. A nice side of an 8 pointer and a little fork. Funny how you scan all over the place, but these 2 I nearly stepped on.

Here is one of the two shedsthe wife and Ifoundthis morning (2/28) ina clover/alfalfa field (...have to protect those tractor tires...; the other shed was a forkie). The wife is holding last year's shed from this buck and the shed from today,not too hard to tell the difference- I do not have apicture of this buck on my motion cameras, he must be camera-shy :eek:. This one has an odddrop "tine" that had grown quite a bit since last year.

GregH: 10-4, they can add some mass and character if you give them the chance...

I went out yesterday to chatsworth , i found a dead spike, an arrow, and someones "weed" farm complete with fences to keep deer away![:@]gonna talk to the farmer to tell him about!! anyway great pic"s guys!!

Tyler and I have found 24 but nothing big yet. We been getting a lot of snow lately and has put a halt to looking for now. Once the snow starts melting we will be back at itand I will get some pictures posted.

Hey bionic, do you think those last three on the bottom of the pic are from this yearor last? They look really bleached and chewed like they are from a couple of years ago, but I can't tell for sure. If they are from this year then WOW, they got chewed up pretty quick.

308, the last 3 are a few years old I think.... they are chewed and bleached real bad!

This winter's sheds; the antlers on the left and right are of the buck in the foreground and the single in the middle is from the guy with his face in the snow.

Are those sheds ever dark. When I find them they are almost white.

Canuck, all I can say is I copy the link under the picture on photobucket that says "image" and then past it into the pop up box that you get on hunting.net when you click on "add image", and it works for me.... I'll try one of yours...
