The sheds I find don't have the skull. I've always wondered how they shed there skull and antlers cause I've never seen one going through this transistion. I wonder how big that deer will be next year.

the antlers are that color becaus the deer is dead, its not the pic. that did it. and where i live, i would think that deer died of old age by the thickness of his antlers, some only grow to be 10 pointers, he could be a 6 year or older deer

I had a guy look at the teeth and guess he was 3/1/2 years old. I found him in a draw rabbit hunting about 150yrds off the road. He died in velvet is why his antlers are the color they are. He was either a road shot or died from blue tounge.
