Next year will be my first year deer hunting, because i will be 16 in august. I think i have a good idea to get deer to come in your way. How about spraying the scent of your choice(buck urine, doe in heat, etc.)on your clothes and walking through brushright in front of your stand, at a certain distnce, where you want the deer to walk, giving you the perfect shot opportunity. I dont know if this will work but i thought it might be a good idea, let me know what you think.

That would be the last thing I would ever do! That's really asking for it. REALLY!
It even says on the bottles "Do Not Apply to Person or Clothing". I think I'd listen to them- they're probably speaking from experience.

Young man, don’t try it.
I remember seeing a guy on one of those shock TV kind of shows that wanted to show how tuff he was. He sprayed a deer in heat scent on himself, set up a video camera and started rolling. A short while later he got his wish. A decent sized buck came to his beckoning and knocked his lights out. He managed to get up a tree eventually but not before getting the fight of his life. The deer hung around the tree for awhile looking confused and mad. Eventually the deer left and the battered man climbed down, grabbed his camera and ran for the hills.

Sorry you have to take a bashing from these guys. A better idea would be to spray the scent on a clean rag and tie it to a string and tie the other end to your boot. Walk to your stand, dragging the scented rag, then turn do a U turn really close to your stand. You do thisso that the deer might be quartering away for a better shot and facing away to allow you to draw your bow or gun. Also, hang the rag there at the end of that U turn.
And by the way, this works. Especially during the rut. Works even better with a decoy.
