As stated earlier it depends where you hunt check the laws in your state. A couple of things though if you are hunting with dogs (where legal) never gut your deer in the woods If you ever want to see and irate man gut your deer in the woods and tell the hunt master. Also if there are hikers and other nonhuntersthat share the woods with you eather take the deer out whole and take care of it somewhere else or burry them. It may be legal but we don't need to make any more antis then we already have. Remember ethics play the biggest part of our sport so never do anything out there that you woulden't do if you were in a stadium full of people.Welcome to the sport it will give you a life time of memories your first deer will stay with you just like the birth of your first child.
