Should Hunting with Drug Tipped Arrows Be legal?

With ALL these "Polls" being posted I thought I would pose this question to the forum.... I live in Alabama where using a crossbow was just made legal for anyone which is great.... BUT our border state Mississippi can legally use an arrow with a drug that when introduced to the blood stream of an animal I am told will make it drop in about 10 seconds ... I am told that the drug is called "Nictine" (may not be spelt correctly) and how it works is that it removes all the oxygen from the blood of the deer and it really makes no difference where the deer is hit and long as there is penetration or a pass through ... which is supposed to make it more humane for the animal as opposed to crippling or wounding it and not being able to recover the deer ... my question is should it be made legal in all states becasue it is more humane?

Honest Injun 3-D ...Mississippi can legally use this ..they fix it to their arrow with a small rubber type incert directly behind the broadhead ..as it passes through the deer it rolls up the shaft and releases this drug which is a powder form ...I understand that it is a drug that Vets use on horses ...

Does printing in BOLD letters drive your point home better? Makes it harder to read.

succinylcholine chloride is the drug used in the pod. To clarify I misspoke Fred Bear invented the pod the person I spoke with was a major supporter of it use.

Strange thing that poison.
Frankly Id be affraid to use it, carry it and store it. I guess that it does not affect meat in any way but the hole thing just gives me the creeps!

Facts against it being used? Cant come up with any!

I guess I would need more info. For instance, what (if any) effect does it have on the meat? Is there sufficient research available to back it up? Not having seen this before, I guess I would also wonder if the drug is "secured" enough on thearrow so that it doesn't fall into a childs hands or something to that effect. I think the idea definitely has merit though, even though the inevitable arguement of too much advantage over the deer will no doubt rear its head. Not that thats a bad thing of course.
