I ended the season pretty well. Got a doe. I know it is small but I hunt in the Hill Country so that explains it. My friend jessi on the left, me on the right. It was drizzling and we saw several doe and a small buck we let walk. We let her stay for a long time hoping a good buck/spike would walk out. All of a sudden she started to run off, I bleated at her, she stopped just shy of the brushline and so quickly I put it on her shoulder and sqeezed off. She went down about25yds later. Hit her right in front of her shoulder[:'(]good thing she was quartering to. It busted the jugular and the heart and the lungs. I was pleased with the season. So howdid you guys do?
