Sound like a great idea!
I'll leave plenty of slug shells on the ground alright. all the slugs will be in his body and hopefully most of them will hit in his hollow head so as not to spoil the meat.

uh no actually thats not funny at all because there is absoloutely no point to it. Why would you shot at animals with cannon and mortars. All that person is doing is being cruel to animals. yah sure you can say all hunters are cruel but we give the animals a fighting chance and when we go out to hunt we are all there for the meat in the long run. What that guy is doing is the equivalant of shooting a deer and walking up to it and shooting it 10 more times. i wouldnt say its clearly a joke.......there ARE alot of reenactors....old school cannon and mortar shooters ect out there.....i seen competitions of these guys on TV....they ARE good....and its VERY possible.....i wont give you my view on the subject........i just think its VERY possible.....illegal...YES...

Yeah we have the Battle of Franklin near my house every 4 years or so, those guys have a competition as well. They are pretty good, but I dont know about being able to hit a deer. If they did I would still think that it was a luck shot. And it would certainly do more damage than that guy shows after six shots.
