I hunt mainly in Vermont! It is an off-year that we don't have at least a "Tracking Snow".
I also hunt in PA where it is hit-or-miss for snow.
Love hunting with snow cover - makes them so much easier to see!

I love hunting in the snow i shot a decent buck on a full run at about 100 yards as soon as i pulled the trigger he was painting a canvas for me ive also tracked deer by the way they r dragging there feet or u can track a deer for nealry a half an hour without finding blood and pic up one drop here and there stuff that vitualy impossible without snow it helps when yur spotting them esspecially moose and once yur game is down it helps so much for moving it around cleanin yur knives damm there aint a thing i could think of thats not a benefit with snow too bad we dont get snow during hunting season in Alberta anymore dammit.

I've done it a couple times [:-]
I love the snow on the ground. Makes tracking easier. It makes spotting them in the woods easier. It makes walking quieter.
I could however do without the sleet/snow pelting my face with 20 mph north winds sitting 20 feet in a tree from sunup to sundown
