In regards tomellowing; In earlier threads, somefolks(I'm not going to point fingers at specific people)werearguing pretty stronglythat any violation of regs (tresspassing comes to mind) constitutes poaching and is wrong. Yet, it now turns out that some folks have a lot of reasons for why they wouldn't turn people in for many of thoseinfractions. I just find that interesting.

Oh, and to clarify, F&G (Fish and Game) is commonly used by many states in reference to both wildlifedepartments and regulations.

bigcountry...just because you have a noisy sister in law doesn't mean everyone in the state is like her. You can make generalized statements about any group but that shows ignorance on your part.

As far as the bible passages, you can take about any passage out of context and make it say what you want. So you think no one on earth should judge anyone else? Should we just have a world where corruption and lawlessness goes unchecked?

I don't believe those passages are taken out context. Take a good look at MacArther Study bible (one of the most accepted explanations). I don't know how anybody could take "take the plank out of your own eye before pointing out the speck in you brothers", out of context. It is one of the most straight forward passages there is. In other words, how do you take these passages? Do you have another explanation for them?

We have law of the land and law enforcement take care of these folks. You get into what is called the "moral" argument. Its not your job to inform law enforcement about your friend.

I think you kinda proved my point about being noisy and all. I mean you are the one who is a busybody? Correct?and I hope you don't take that as an insult. Just your the one who is making something your business. Correct?

I have a question for you. Do you teach your children in school to tattle on ever minor incident? Is this a practice you condone? I mean you using absolutes in comparing deer poaching to killing another human being? Is that logical?

How far does that go?

Exactly Charlie. So you believe we should be a country of absolutes?

I'm asking you where do you draw the line. You wouldn't turn a friend in for dealing drugs if I understood correctly, when would you get involved?

Oh ok, for my friends, hard telling Charlie. For my friend, it would take alot. I stack friendship and loyalty pretty high. I mean alot of this is common sense. If my friend was killing bald eagles, sure, he wouldn't be my friend much longer, and hence easy to "rat" him out.

You'de turn your friend in for killing bald eagles but not for dealing drugs? Is that what your saying?

You changed the question in the process of answering you back. For people I grew up with who are dealers, thats easy, I don't hang around them or that part of thier life to make it my business. Sure we still chat about hunting, or autos but not about that.

But again common sense should prevail.I can't use absolutes to compare dealing to poaching a deer.Hey, the guy asked opinions. He gotem.

So I guess its a moot point. Because you are obviously for absolutes in life? Correct?
