The pace at which technology becomes outdated, I gotta believe that the Cuddeback 3.0 will fall $100 in the next few months. I already have one that I use religiously.
Anybody out there got any information thatcan either prove or disprove my theory?

I have the new Cuddeback 2006 catalog, and they have changed their cameras for this year. They are smaller, brighter flash, and quicker trigger, and they also have a IR version now.I believe the current Cuddeback's in storeswill be dropping in price big time with the new models coming out.I have the current 3.0 Cuddeback, and love it. I will be trying the new version this year as well.

OK guys I am thinking about spending the money and getting a cuddeback! Is there anyway to lock one of the cuddebacks to the tree, cuz if I spend that much money I want it to be there when I go get the pictures

buckmasterflex,
The camera comes with a cable which wraps around the tree and through the camera, or you can run a torxhead screw the center of the camera and into the tree. They also sell a steelbearbox which maybe worth looking at. As far as the camera goes. Make sure you do not getthe older model 1.3 mp. I have heard of problems with that unit. The 3.0mp that came out last year is a great camera. They no longer make the 1.3mp for 2006. I have tried several cheaper cameras and itis not worth the frustrations in my opinion. My lease is 45 mintues away, and there was nothing more frustrating then going to check my camera and find it didnt work, or the pictures didnt turn out. No worries with the Cuddeback since switching.
