I'd have taken him - no doubt, - but I have two buck tags and would have had no problem hunting for the big guy afterwards. Good for you, I hope your hunting partners/neighbors share your trophy standards - he will be a true trophy next year as you said.

awesome buck. You have more restraint than I would, of course if the other one is as big as you say maybe I could hold out as well. Must be hard.
