Good Lord what a buck. I don't know how you pass him up! Thanks for sharing the pics, and making my mouth water...again.

I dont know what hunting pressure is like where you hunt but where i hunt if you let a deer like that walk then chances are you'll never see him again.I have let fork horns walk only to hear a gun shot five minutes later much less a trophy like that.Good luck.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. That's about as good as it gets around here, and I don't know how you passed on him, but good luck on a bigger one.

I still think you are crazy!! He is awesome!! Deffinate shooter in my book. This deer is probably in the 140's, I think.

Hey wolfen, are you out there. Is this a shooter in your neck of the woods? Just curious.

I'd have taken him - no doubt, - but I have two buck tags and would have had no problem hunting for the big guy afterwards. Good for you, I hope your hunting partners/neighbors share your trophy standards - he will be a true trophy next year as you said.

awesome buck. You have more restraint than I would, of course if the other one is as big as you say maybe I could hold out as well. Must be hard.
