This is the last deer I got. Got it with a Flintlock the day after Christmas. Got to with in about 45 yds as it was laying in its bed. It was snowing pretty hard. I kept squeezing the trigger. It wouldn't go off. I dumped the powder and put more in the pan. It still wouldn't go off. I dumped the powder and filled the pan clear up with powder. I squeezed the trigger and waited for the hang-fire. It finally went off. The little doe just rolled over in its bed.
