Buying my first tree stand

Hello to all,

I want to buy a nice tree stand and was hoping to get some advice. I’ve looked through the internet and stores at the various types and the one that caught my eye was found here.

There’s a link to one called the “tree lounge”. Have any of you used this one and if so, what do you think of it.

Are there any recommendations for others or did I find the crown jewel? I will be rifle hunting with it. (12ga with a slug barrel)

Get a Summit Backpacker LOVE MINE. Super stable {Especially if your LARGE lilke me}

COMFORTABLE ......can sit all day. Can shoot 360 degrees

Packing will take some getting used to but it's a breeze now.
200-300 dollars depends where ya shop.

With the strategies I hunt I rarely use a treestand. However, after doing alot of research I decided that the backpacker is going to be my stand...

With the strategies I hunt I rarely use a treestand. However, after doing alot of research I decided that the backpacker is going to be my stand...

Here is why I chose.
1. Summit has a 5 star reputation

2. I needed one tha twould not squeak when I was bow hunting and could hold me. Don't ask what I weigh but I put it to the test.

3. My back sometimes gets sore so I needed comfort. You got it. It is safe enough to sleep in.

4.I'm 51 and not in the best of shape and have been back packing it over 1 mile.

5.I feel safe in it and I am afraid of heights. I only go about 12 feet.

6 You can shoot 360 degrees.

Please keep your harness on.It is still a man made tool.

Thanks for pointing that out Reb...!
