I like the basic 10/12 box type rack with good spread and decent tines. I like the wide rack look better.

Did Frank Zitz's shop do your European mount? I am referring to the buck on top.They did one for me a few years ago and the display looks extremely similar.

Tine length coupled with mass are the characteristics that appeal to me the most.Of course if the buck happens to be exceptionally wide all the better!

You didn't list symetrical, typical, or non-typical. I like tall, symetrical racks. But then, there are very few wide racks here anyway.

My dream buck,

25 inches wide with long tines, dark antlers, double symetrical drops, symetrical kickers on the g2's, and good mass as well.

I prefer the nice wide racks. The Buck I got today was a little narrower then I would like, buthe is still going to look good on my wall:)

So Al looks like he came back and you got your buck ...show us the pics and tell us the story ... are the bucks in south Alabama starting to rut yet ... I h ave seen very little sign of it here in North Alabama ...
