Yep Tennessee is a good place to practice your shooting before the rut starts in Alabama ... had I shot everything I saw in Tennessee I suppose I might could have had 20 but not sure why I would want to kill that many..I saw 6 yesteday afternoon... the only reason I shot this one was because an older man who works with my aunt wanted one ... I dont kill them for the numbers ..just for the meat unless they are cull bucks or wall hangers ..by the way you never showed me pics of your 10pt or 8pt I would enjoy seeing them...

I kill strickly for meat as well. Brauts, Sausage, Jerky, Steak, Roast, Salami, etc etc. I kill, process and make all of those. I eat deer at least 1-2 times a week. I have lost almost 80 pounds since i started this diet a year and a half ago. Good stuff.

We also have a huge celebration in Maury Co. every year and i serve deer to about 200 people every year along with beer. Its called Mule Day.... Its so fun. You should come down for it!!!

I will PM you the pics.... And Try and post them here.

8 point is on top, the ten with my grin is on bottom...

Nubo as you know Iwould be the LAST oneto boast but I hunted with a bow for almost 30 years ...as a matter of fact my first compond bow was an Allen if you go back that far and thats how I got this nick name Doctor Death becasue I had taken so many with a bow... I have harvested more then 150 deer with my bow but never anything big ..tons of doe's ..spikes ...a cpl of 8 pts ... but now at 54 I just can not focus on a pin anymore and do not want to wear glasses so now I use a crossbow during bow season.

Congrats again Doc! You've had a great season, and it sounds like its not over yet!
If you kill 'em legal, and they get ate, I'll never have a problem with how many you kill! BTW, you can send some my way! Preferably processed, and frozen!
I'm going to be hunting a hunting lease soon! I've even momentarily considered your area! I could relieve you of some of that "work!"
But its just too far to be practical! So I'll be looking west instead!
Cangrats, again!
