Holy cow, first year hunting, you got to sick one with a bow. Thats quite an accomplishment. Took me years before all stars lined up for me to stick a deer with a bow. Congrads.

Im 40 and I've killed 42 with a bow. Not sure how many with a gun, maybe 10 to 15.

i'm 16 and have taken 2 bucks in 2 years, with this being my third year. hoping to get one for this year during muzzleloader season. by the way, i took both with a muzzleloader, one 6 pt and one 8 pt.

For me it’s hard to answer that question because I’ve never kept count but I have four in my name for this year alone.

Well lets see, from 1953 to 1956, I killed 12 deer
1956 to 1964 (millitary) I killed 6 deer
1964 to 1968 out of commission for 4yrs
1968 to 2000all dog hog hunting, over 300+ hogs
2000 to present I killed10 deer and 10 or 12 hogs
Also have killed Gators,Moose, Elk, Mulies,Bear, Cebuand Wolf inbetween all those yrs.

I'm 49 and have shot 62 deer. 37 bucks 25 does. 20 bucks with a bow, 12 of those gross between 125 and 183. 7 make P & Y. First deer was a 6 pt. at 12 yrs old in 1968 with a recurve and a running shot at 15 yds.

4th year huntin and have taken 1 with the gun two years ago and started bow huntin last year and took 1 with the bow and took one this year with the bow so that would be 3 deer taken 2with the bow and 1 with the gun(winchester 1300 20ga.) 2 were button buck and the one this year was a doe.
