Does anyone have any idea how the deer hunting in Midland Odessa area is?

Not from there, but I'd say it'd be pretty scattered if anything, not too much vegetation out there... San Angelo is good, that's about as far out there as I've heard success from, but I don't knowany people who have hunted out near odessa/midland etc...

Just from my observations driving through the territory, I don't normally see many deer. That's not to say they aren't there, but they are fewer and further between than deer in many other parts of the state.

I used to live there and there is no deer hunting within 45 miles. Big lake, San Angelo and Sonora are the closest good hunting.
