Default bolt action slug guns??

after my unsuccesfull season with a muzzleloader i think i am goin to invest in a slug gun next year and was wantin to get a bolt action type, i was wonderin about how much i would have to spent to get one and how well do they shoot, also what other option for slug guns could i look into that would be fairly cheap.

I used a realOLD bolt action 20 gauge when I first got started and killed some deer with it.Iwasn't ever to thrilledwith it, but it was a really old gun.I bought a Remington 870 a few years ago and I really like it. The price isn't to bad either.

For current production guns I think your best bet would be the savage. JCC has one and seems to really like it. If I would have had the money when I got my H&R that is what I would have got.
