The gun I shot my first deer with was a 12 ga. Browning BPS, but more importantly I killed my first two wild quail over my first bird dog/companion that same year, before my first deer. That gun will be in the family awhile...has some special meaning to me, even if no body else thinks anything of it.

I also killed my 1st deer with a 30-30.

Heh heh, I haven't killed my first deer yet. When I do, it will most likely be with my Rem. 870 Express w/ 23" CSM slug gun w/fully rifled bbl. THAT IS PROBABLY.

I could always have that first deer taken with my bow or ML rifle.

Hopefully it will happen next year. Should have had my first deer this year but I get I shot over his back. That was with the shotgun.
